Sequential chart plates laid out along a long dark table

Engagements

The path from exports to a pack

A clear sequence for digital publishers: lock the period, reconcile the book, then design plates leadership can present without debating definitions.

  1. Intake & access We collect billing exports, membership rosters, plan glossaries, and the questions your next board or leadership meeting must answer.
  2. Period lock & SKU map Finance and membership agree on a cut timestamp and a map of commercial products to billing codes — including migrated or regional SKUs.
  3. Reconciliation gate Totals must align within your agreed tolerance before any chart work begins. Gaps become written findings, not silent chart fudge.
  4. Visual pack & workshop Plates and narrative ship for review; one workshop with finance and product leads closes the engagement or hands off to monthly support.

What you prepare

Twelve to twenty-four months of subscription billing and refunds, a list of trial and promotional rules, and named contacts in finance and product. Incomplete exports lengthen the mapping phase; they do not stop the work.

Where this leads

Most publishers begin with the flagship reporting engagement, then either commission a refined board pack or retain monthly assembly. Cohort-only reviews suit teams who already trust their totals but need clearer retention reading.
